Regardless of what you believe or accept to worship, God has given us an inherent ability[ies] to enable us live a victorious life here while on earth. The problem is not about where we were born, our color, race, family, education or any form of human standards but our attitude. John C. Maxwell said, "People may hear your words, but they feel your attitude"; the only way people could deny your ability is the attitude you attach to it. If they feel a positive and a winning attitude, they will respond positively to it. Attitude which emit negative energy repels victory and success. Zig Ziglar once said "Your attitude, not aptitude, will determine your altitude" and indeed your character, not charisma, will determine your success height. Lessons for the Living

• Mental Attitude: this servant had a mental attitude that predefines the person of his master. In his mind the master was wicked and cruel. This servant developed a mental attitude that dishonors his master while he was still serving under him. He would not leave but he wouldn't honor him as his master. Besides the attitude he created in his mind about his master, he couldn't see the opportunity he was given by him for his own good. Mental attitude blinded his sense of judgement to even realize that the talent was first for his benefit before his master. Anytime we develop a negative mental attitude towards anything or anyone we become blind to the blessings we ought to receive. His mental attitude rather created in him the attitude of being fearful, attitude of failure, attitude of insecurity and rejection, and the attitude of mediocrity. The moment you begin to see yourself walking in these attitudes, pause for a while and revise your mental attitude towards the things and people around you.

• The Attitude of the Heart: Deceit [is] in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace [is] joy - Proverbs 12:20 the byproduct of a negative mental attitude is the heart full of negative attitude and deceit. Imaginations of the heart creates an attitude that fights everything and anyone that could inspire success around you. A heart full with evil imaginations and wicked thought patterns begins to inspire attitudes of envy, greed, dishonesty, disrespect, pride, arrogance or ego, ingratitude, betrayal and disloyalty. Let us all take heed to the counsel of the prophet Joel when he said to the house of Israel to "rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil" - Joel 2:13

• The Spirit behind Your Attitude: The height of negative attitude is that attitude inspired by an evil and pervert spirit. The purity of your heart boost a positive spiritual attitude but when your spirit is polluted by evil, your attitude to everything and anyone is evil. The power that inspire evil attitude is the spirit of witchcraft and wickedness. Alice Witt once said "Acting is magical. Change your look and your attitude, and you can be anyone". Your evil and negative attitude if not changed makes your heart the place for the devil. Purge your spirit with the word of God and the blood of Jesus Christ prayerfully, then, live in accordance with the word of God.

Life can be easier and victorious if we all can have the attitude that inspires positivity. The servant with one talent had a despised attitude that was not producing results for him or anyone around him. The problem was not the talent because every talent given by the master had the potential of doubling itself. It was for that reason the master knew when the servant had deposited the talent with the bank, it would have given him his expected profit. The blessings of prosperity and total victory is in every little talent given by God even the gift of people. No matter what life throws at you and I, our response with positive attitude changes the face of the result expected of us.
